One, home to my soul. The other, home to my being.
Here is what today looks like in both these places. Spiti, tucked away in the extreme high altitude snowy Himalayan ranges of India, in #HimachalPradesh. And #Ketti, nestled in the lush green rolling hills in the southern state of #TamilNadu. Both separated by miles and miles of geographical and cultural distance. But with one thing is common -- peace and an intimacy with nature.
My friend, Tsering who took these pics, lives in #Kaza and has 2 feet of snow outside his house right now. In a while, he's off to ski on slopes where the show is 5 feet deep. He's probably going to carry a hot flask of butter tea with him. It is after all -10 degree Celsius in the day, and a lot lower at night.
Over 3,200 kilometers away, I am in Ketti, enjoying a sunny, crisp day looking over the tea gardens. It's about 25 degree C. I am laying on the lawn, having finished a meditation session, and sipping a delicate cup of the famous #NilgiriTea.
Despite the sweeping space between us, it's the search for a higher truth that binds us. A desire to do good and help people, and to make our world a better place than we found it. With our #SoulSherpa guiding us, we hope to accomplish all that we were put here to do. If you are reading this, I hope you will pitch in to do the same :)
